Graeme Taylor has joined Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in Brussels, the leading European Green Deal consultancy in Brussels, as a Director and Head of its Food and Agriculture practice and a member of its management group.

Graeme joins from Syngenta Group, where he held the positions of Global Head of Public Affairs and Global Head of Media Relations. He was previously Director of Public Affairs at Croplife Europe, as well as a diplomat representing national government in Brussels, a communication adviser in the European Commission, and a national civil servant.

“I am looking forward to bringing 20 years of insight and experience in government, corporate and trade associations to get the best for our clients” said Graeme. “The debate on the future of food production is at a critical point, presenting both significant opportunities and risks for all companies. The strength we are building in our team will ensure there is no one in Brussels better equipped to help understand and navigate that debate.”

“With much of the European Green Deal having moved from strategies to legislative action, we are delighted to expand our senior team to include such a formidable public affairs and communications practitioner.” said James Stevens, Managing Partner. “We continue to invest in talent to support our continued growth in 2022 and it is great to add senior counsel in the area of food and agriculture to our existing bench-strength.”

Since its establishment in mid-2017 Rud Pedersen Brussels has rapidly grown into the leading European Green Deal consultancy in Brussels. Its forty-eight team members work across European Green Deal dossiers for clients in the food, agriculture, industrial, energy and technology sectors.
